Infection Prevention and Control eLearning Modules

Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care has developed a suite of eLearning modules to provide information on the principles of infection prevention and control in Australian healthcare settings. Many of these modules are also of value to those involved in community care, aged care, and other occupations such as beauticians.

The Commission’s infection prevention and control eLearning modules are based on the content of the Australian Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Infection in HealthcareExternal link and the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards, particularly the Preventing and Controlling Infections Standard. The modules are available through the National Hand Hygiene Initiative Learning Management System (NHHI LMS). To access the modules, you need to log into the NHHI LMSExternal link using your current login details, or register as a new user.

A certificate of completion is available at the end of each successfully completed module which you are encouraged to download to print or save, as your workplace may require this in the future. This is not a requirement of the Commission.
