The Luson Health Launch into Work program provided 10 individuals who were passionate, caring and had a want to work with the elderly in a residential setting with the opportunity to participate in a pre-employment program.
This the successful candidates undertook an intensive 6-week pre-employment program, where they studied 5 units of competency in aged care, completed a 100 hours of work placement and completed soft skills and workplace training.
Luson Health committed to 10 on-going roles within their Aged Care facilities, guaranteeing a minimum of 25 hours per week for each candidate, upon successful completion of the Launch into Work program.
