Future Health Skills has been developed by The Gordon in partnership with the Victorian Government, the Geelong Region Local Learning and Employment Network, Barwon Health, the Epworth and St John of God Health Care to meet current and future skill gaps identified in the health sector.
All project partners are members of the Project Steering Group, who have made key decisions about the project and training development.
What are microcredentials?
These microcredentials developed by the health care sector for the health care sector deliver fast, practical and engaging training in critical areas.
FHS microcredentials are designed to help you learn. The FHS philosophy is that people learn most by doing – so you will undertake a number of activities to earn your Digital Badge. For example, you may be asked to view and respond to a scenario online, find and interpret a resource on the internet, apply a skill in your daily job or explain a concept to a colleague or your manager. The tasks will vary for each microcredential, but all must be completed successfully to earn your Digital Badge.
